  • Official Start of the Winter Season at the Schilthorn

On Saturday, the winter season will kick off at the Riggli chairlift. At the same time, Samuel von Allmen will take over as Head of Winter Sports, succeeding Peter Bühler, who retired at the end of September after 25 years in the role. A sports shop with an integrated bar is set to open in the new Mürren station before the festive season. And in April 2027, the Swatch Nines will return.

  • A strong summer thanks to stable weather and full capacity

Schilthorn Cableway Ltd. can look back on a successful summer season. Passenger numbers on the cable car rose by a third compared with the same period last year. This positive trend is also evident in the company’s other business areas. However, the company’s liquidity remains constrained. The Board of Directors has therefore begun preparations for an optional increase in share capital.

  • Winter season start at Riggli chairlift

On Saturday, 1st November 2025, the official 2025/2026 winter season starts at the Riggli chairlift. Thanks to snow farming, a complete ski slope and a snow park has been created for the third time in a row. With the opening of the second Funifor track between Mürren and Birg at the end of November, this route will reach full capacity just in time for the peak season.

  • The snowpark in the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area is now called Pända Snowpark

The renowned Skyline Snowpark in the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area will have a new name from this winter onwards: Pända Snowpark. In collaboration with Pända Freestyle Ltd., the snowboard and freeski offer will be strengthened both on the mountain and in the valley when they open the first freestyle hall in the region in spring 2025.
